From emmadelosnardos:

I once wrote the following email to tumblr support:

Emma, Apr 20 22:39 (EDT):

It is very frustrating that, for a ‘social media’ website, tumblr makes it difficult for its users to keep track of messages that we have sent to friends. i suggest adding the capability of saving one’s sent asks, submissions, and fanmails. that would facilitate communication and enhance the quality of your application. sincerely, emma de los nardos.

This was their response:

Hi Emma,

We don’t have any plans to make Tumblr a replacement for email.

I’ve passed your suggestion along to our team.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

Thanks for using Tumblr!

Regards,
Mohammed
