River is so damned COOL I can’t even think about it too hard or my brain melts.
And then we get asinine romance crap thrown at our heads and I just want it to stop so I can get back to admiring how amazing she is.
(Extra-annoying is that if her romance were with anybody but the Doctor, I would find it amazing and cool in its own right.)
