Birds can be really sweet. ^_^ Just like they preen and feed their babies, they also do it to express their affection for others. It’s their version of hugs and kisses. So this crow is trying to show the cat and dog that he loves them.
I am always so nervous about birds around cats, though. Aside from worries about the hunting instinct, birds are extremely susceptible to cat-scratch fever. Even a trustworthy cat can be deadly if it accidentally catches the bird with a claw-tip while they’re playing.
