okay so we know about jesus when he’s a baby, and jesus when he’s an adult, but does the bible ever mention his rebellious teenager years?

Actually, yes, those stories are in the Infancy Gospels of Thomas.  The Catholics held on to them, even though they didn’t put them in the Bible because the provenance wasn’t solid enough for them to be comfortable with it.

It does in fact include such delights as Joseph grabbing Jesus by the ear after he zaps his teacher with a curse, and making him apologize.
