You have stumbled on what I think is an interesting (or at least weird) thing about me! I don’t believe I have ever crushed on anybody in my life. Even when I was a teenager and everybody else was falling all over their favorite singers and things, the most I ever felt was a mild sort of, “Yeah, I guess he’s cute” kind of response. Possibly it’s something I’m not really wired for.
PS: Go for it! 99% of the population is awkward when asking someone out for coffee. Suave pick-ups are nearly a myth.
