That, my friends, is a hollow point bullet. Now imagine what it does when it disintegrates inside a human body.
ETA: Actually it’s a frangible round. Hollow points don’t normally disintegrate as completely. This is used in situations where the goal is to keep the bullet from penetrating walls (e.g. on an airplane).
