If you can’t pick it up there, then she’s got a couple of US pals who will be hanging on to copies of the books, so you can pay US shipping rather than from New Zealand. First class international shipping from the US runs from about $5 for Canada to around $11 for overseas.
She’s not sure how many copies she’ll need, so this will let her know how many books to order from the printer!
