I don’t care what else happened in this movie (which fell within the bounds of average for Star Trek, BTW; it was not the height of sci-fi but then shall we all ponder the episode “Spock’s Brain” for a moment?), the opening was 100% worth everything.
Spock hassled Jim till he fell of a cliff and then they made him sing “Row Your Boat.” How can you even top that?!
