“We’ve got a Constitutional amendment prohibiting slavery in the US” you shouldn’t assume the OP is from the US, tumblr does this all the time and it’s a bit annoying. Lots of tumblers lives in other countries and not everything is about the US. Also slavery was prohibited in many other places centuries ago. o.o

*same anon* otherwise your post is on spot. what people do in their bedrooms is their own concern. I think the main problem would be if a kink starts to influence someone’s general attitude outside the scene
and towards other people who want nothing to do with the kink, like
goreans who think all women should be sex slaves and start to acting in a
 condescending way toward co-workers.

Yep, that’s why I specifically mentioned the US.  So that people know I’m not attempting to generalize.  I figure they can figure out for themselves where they live and whether the situation pertains to them. 😉

But yeah, that last thing is gross.  That’s not about kink, that’s about people being colossal asshats and/or mentally ill.
