I resolved not to post anything about it any more, but then someone made Sherlock fan art about it … so my resolve has changed to not posting about it unless someone makes it … er … funny.
I haven’t been online since Wednesday. I had no idea what was going on! I had to go look it up. Time magazine was frigging covering it!
Kudos to the dress company, though, for leaping on the unique marketing opportunity that is spawning a spontaneous hashtag.
The science of it is pretty cool, admittedly, though all I’m seeing are discussions of how the eyes and brain perceive color and nobody has bothered to bring up how poorly most computer monitors are calibrated.
