Erotic copyediting is the best job for so many reasons, but getting to have conversations with never-before-said sentences is one of them.
And the new rule I’m making right now: if you’re writing erotica, you are not allowed to describe ANYTHING as ‘erotic’, and especially not ‘very erotic’. That’s, like, the ULTIMATE in telling versus showing.
It’s also not very erotic.
