Do you ever think about your relationship with yourself?  That if time really is just another axis in the great positioning system of the universe, that it means we really are separate people from who we were when we were younger, and who we’ll be when we’re older?

That we really do spend our entire lives navigating that relationship, getting to know ourselves, learning to forgive ourselves, discovering what there is to love and hate about ourselves.  We’re such strangers to ourselves when we’re young.  And if we’re lucky, by the time we’re old, we might have come to love ourselves irretrievably.
