I love how Barret is a big scary-looking black dude with a gun surgically attached to his arm, and then he turns out to be a big old social justice-focused marshmallow with an adorable daughter he dotes on and a penchant for adopting idiots who try to pretend they aren’t carrying around Secret Pain.
