i’m writing from my head lately and it’s so hard. writing is so EASY when you feel it, when you’re not even conscious of the words you’re putting down half the time and when it comes out coherent at the other end it’s like this incredible thrill that somehow you managed to make your heart make so much sense. but when that goes away and all you’ve got left is your brain and every word is a wrench from the mental dictionary and you have to THINK the emotions that come out of the story, fuck that’s hard. i’m there right now, my heart’s left this story but my brain still wants to write it and it’s hard and it’s exhausting and it’s not even a little bit satisfying.
