I’m just entertained by how Civil War has swapped viewer’s opinions on things.

Steve’s position is libertarian: that government is too big, too slow, too impersonal and too corrupt to be trusted with oversight of a group like the Avengers.  Tony’s position is the liberal one: that the public has the right to be protected from interference by a small private group like the Avengers, and the right (through their theoretically representative governments) to have a say in what the Avengers turn their powers to.

It’s just funny to watch so many people jumping on board with the opposite of how they normally roll, politically.
