Normally when I write a short fic, I will labor as much as I have to in order to make even the first draft not suck. However, I know that this is the more time-intensive and awful method of writing these things.
So for this new fic, I wrote a sucky first draft. Because when I started writing I could tell that the only way to get the whole thing down was to let it suck, and only then would I be able to make it into something good.
But now I don’t want to edit it, because I am resenting it so much for sucking.
