I think this is a natural reaction when faced with the amount of conflict-free fluff we have here. I had to fight this tendency myself when finishing the story, but I picked my ground (uninterrupted weird porn) and stuck to it! But in a story where, say, things actually happen, there certainly would be adventures and menaces and tragic happenings to break up the smooching and cuddlefests.
