Holy crap this article is amazing.
It’s on using dialect when writing fiction.Specifically it’s aimed at POC writers and talks a bit as well about the additional crap they’ll need to be braced to face if they do it, but it’s enlightening for anybody.
Also, drive-by rec for Sorcerer of the Wildeeps, which is a mind-blowingly odd and wonderful book, especially if you’re looking for queer POC fantasy written by queer POC authors.
