exactly, it’s hilarious

The thing is, I don’t see why it’s necessary to try to change anybody’s mind about tjlc.  Regardless of which side of it you come down on, the theory itself isn’t hurting anybody.  It’s fun, it’s hopeful, and as long as everybody stays friendly it’s a really cool discussion topic regardless of anybody’s personal stance on buy-in.  We can get into everything from HOW GAY IS THIS SHOT THO? to representation in modern pop media to the history of Sherlock Holmes in literature and queer theory.

The only thing that spoils anybody’s fun is when people start hurling insults and accusations when somebody says they don’t agree with them.

I mean, it doesn’t even matter, you know?  We’re all just guessing.  We’ll find out for real at some point.

Anyway, how can it POSSIBLY be a more compelling topic of conversation than Those Boys and Their Fine, Fine Asses?
