This is why I think Mycroft will have it all figured out by the beginning of series 3.
and that my friends is why Sherlock is so pissed off about the ”leg-work” thing in TGG. because they both know that Mycroft could figure it out, and very quickly, he just can’t be bothered to look at it. and that’s why he sends Sherlock.
Um. YES!!!! That’s why I couldn’t quite sort out what the hell they were doing with Mycroft in this series. *shrug*
You do see that one time when Sherlock is like, “How was Sarah’s li-lo, John?” and Mycroft tuts, “Honestly, Sherlock, it was the sofaaaa,” but yes, generally, I agree. I would be happy to see more Mycroft in series 3.
Heh, I assumed Mycroft had it figured out by the end of Fall, when he put down the newspaper and made with the deductive finger-steepling.
