To all my Tumblr peeps who’re waiting on an invite from AO3, it looks like they’re getting the invite queue moving again, now that they’ve made some system upgrades and stabilized things somewhat.  I know some people were told that they’ve have as much as a two year(!) wait to get an invite, but OTW (the non-profit that runs AO3) had said in one of their news releases that the plan was always to speed that along once they had the system in a position to handle more increases in traffic.

(As a note, the ‘News’ section on the front page actually does post some very useful information on how to get the best use from AO3, and what’s going on with it at any given time—especially when there are system instabilities or upgrades.)

So!  Do not despair!  And I hope to see you on the flipside soon!  If you ever want to hunt me up, I’m PrettyArbitrary over there, same as here. 🙂
