Start at the end. What is the very last thing that happens?

Ask “what causes this?”

Work backwards. Work backwards. Just keep asking yourself, “What causes this?”

Keep working until you reach the beginning.

Seriously, trust me on this. This thing saved my life.

Oh my dear, have you missed it?  I’ve been posting snippets and writing process. ^_^

I just crunched through 1700 words of outline and turned it into story this weekend.  I’m on scene four of a four-scene chapter.

Though admittedly it’s only in rough draft.  And scene 4 is being a bit of a dick.  It’s Jim’s fault this time.
