I came back from the store and the yard work guy weed whacked my herb/flower garden.
It had spearmint and a blue wildflower that was flowering at the time. All torn up and killed. And my bulbs for other flowers that were just starting to come up.
I also found out I have a rather expensive car repair for about $1000 to contend with, but I have a credit card and was taking that reasonably in stride, but… my garden was doing so well. And now it’s all dead. And I feel worse about that than anything and I don’t know why.
I texted my landlady saying what he did but she didn’t respond.
I can’t believe I’m crying over flowers and a mint plant right now.
Awww, Coat, that’s awful! No, I would feel just the same way. Those are living things that you nurtured and were enjoying, and now they’re gone. It’s sad. 🙁 And worse, completely unnecessary. I’m so sorry.
