You feed it the parameters you want, and then it generates a bit of code for you.  You copy the code, then go into the HTML for your Tumblr theme (Edit Appearance>Edit Theme>Edit HTML).  Hunt around in there a bit for your sidebar (an easy way to find it is by searching for the title of one of your sidebar widgets), and copy your code in there.  And then don’t forget to save!

I added the section header for My Tags separately. That didn’t come with the code snippet.

I hope that helps!  I find it makes Tumblr a much more useful thing.
