I was scrolling through my dash on mobile and I saw this drawing by Rob Liefeld and I was like
“Hey this doesn’t look too bad.”
“oh”
“oh god.”
“she’s like fucking long cat”
“enough”
Rob Liefeld gives me hope. If this bag of garbage juice can make it in the industry so many of us illustrators are sitting on a goldmine of potential

I would totally pay money for a book drawn by you.
Consider that there was a time when Liefeld was not only consistently getting work, but was an icon of the industry. People were hired on the basis of their ability to draw like him, or to ink or color work in his style.
A lot of people on here are too young to have lived through it, but I remember those dark times. If Rob Liefeld could spend a decade as the most influential comics artist, you can damn well bet that there’s hope for anyone.
