That is an EXCELLENT QUESTION, anon, and one I have thought about deeply. If they were born as catdads (uh…hush, just go with it) then they would reasonably have just the cat ears. However, they started as human, so they began with human ears. So do the human ears migrate on their heads? (yeegads.) Was surgery involved? (…yeegads.) Did they grow a second set?
I have not yet settled the matter to my satisfaction but I do envision them with just one set of ears, those being the cat ears. Two sets just weirds me out when I think about it too hard.
