If you mean the first fiction I ever wrote, I don’t even know, to be honest. I’ve been writing since I was little. I remember inventing fantasy worlds with my sister, with dragons and wizards and elves and sending them on quests to stop evil demon-gods from taking over the world. Also having Barbie, GI Joe and Chun Li team up with the ninja turtles to fight Skeletor.
But the first fanfic I ever wrote–at least that I recognized as fanfic–was a missing scene fic for CS Friedman’s Coldfire Trilogy. I still have it up over on ff.net, and the publishing date on it is Feb 13, 2004. It’s pretty reedy, quality-wise, but my dislike for destroying fan content overpowers my shame at people seeing it, especially for a fandom that small.
