Increasingly often, when I get into assorted conversations with people and the topic brushes up against race or gender or sexuality or whatever on the way past, somebody bothers to take the time to be inclusive about it.

Like, the other day the Career Services director was down in our office, and saying something about ‘men and women,’ and then he added ‘and other people shaped like men or women.’

I know there’s a long way to go for an awful lot of people, but man, sometimes it’s great to see a reminder that it can get better.
