And it’s not just white men.
White WOMEN are nervous as fuck too.
Because they’ll lose their spot as prized possession to white patriarchy.
And they don’t ever want that to happen.
As a white woman who is nobody’s possession, prized or otherwise, and has no interest in and dare I say even a healthy dislike of the white patriarchy, I agree with the gifs, but not the commentary.
You know, it actually is a bit of an adjustment, accepting that you’re not the center of the world. That your preferences will not always be recognized or adhered to. That you might not always get what you want or even what you need.
But that’s part of growing up.
And if you have to accept a world that’s a little less safe for you, in return you get a lot more beauty.
