Important and unresolved question: Why is Sherlock’s bedroom so clean? (ASIB)

Sherlock Holmes:

• still hasn’t unpacked a box in the living room a year and a half after moving in
• has a sock index in his tidy bedroom

HE IS A MAN OF CONTRADICTIONS.

I’ve wondered this myself. I think it’s because he never sleeps and is prissy about his clothing, so he just mucks up the living room and sends everything out to be dry cleaned?

I like to think it’s because he’s one of those jackasses who likes cleanliness and order in his own space, but will happily muck up a common area because someone else will clean it, surely.
