Ugh, there’s nothing like sitting down with the motivation to draw and then having so many fucking problems with your software that you’re left too pissed off to want to have anything to do with it.

Lots of people adore Paint Tool SAI, but I think I may just blow up my copy with a stick of dynamite and a registry cleaner and go back to Photoshop.  This relationship has not been cool, fun, or in any way productive, and it really kind of annoys me that everybody else who does digital art thinks it’s awesome while my experience is that it persistently fails to do anything I want it to and leaves me grumpy and miserable.  I keep trying because I would LIKE to like it, but all I really want to do is deface it with a can of spray paint.
