Today I got a bit of hate over one of my fics (not, like, strong criticism, but an actual ‘rude’ comment) and I was feeling a bit upset about it, but the I remembered you had actually left kudos on that work, and I instantly felt better because you’re an amazing writer/person and if you liked it, then I trust it was good enough. (Saying this on anon because I feel it may be a bit pathetic, but I’ve been happy ever since you left that kudo) So thank you *hugs*

It’s not pathetic!  People say hurtful things for the purpose of hurting you, so it’s not surprising when it works.  We’re told we should be able to ignore things like that, but the reality is that it’s not that easy to ignore the fact that someone wants you to be in pain. 🙁

But I’m glad that my kudos made you feel better!  I have no doubt that if it left it, then it’s a fic I not only enjoyed, but would (and perhaps have!) read again.  And I hope the rude commenter learns better and gets an attitude adjustment.
