Just finished an otherwise awesome Sherlock fic that managed to piss me off in the last stretch with Sherlock ditching John and taking off on his own to be a reckless asshole and then getting handled like a ~brooding special snowflake~ by everybody after it results in him nearly blowing the case and getting people including himself killed.

Because you know.  God forbid you should hold the grown-ass genius accountable for the damage he does to the people around him.  Especially when it’s the same stunt that got them all in trouble last time.

(On a related note, I’m discovering that saintly!John often rather pisses me off too.  Sometimes you should call people on their shit.)
