This is the Daily Fail, so take it with a grain of salt, but holy crap it could be less than a year!
This would be great, but on the other hand I really hope the BBC doesn’t attempt to exert pressure to the extent that they make it untenable for Cumberbatch or Freeman (or the producers). This is a pack of REALLY busy people, and the flexibility to extend their deadline as necessary is one of the things that lets them work on the show at all. Take that away, and they’ll be forced to make some really unpleasant choices.
