im a little lost after season 3 and have no idea what to read. I feel like I was on a busy expressway leading to a marked destination and suddenly I’v been dumped on the side of the road next to a tiny exit and I can see the expressway curving away into the distance. It’s killed my desire for only season 1 and 2 compliant fics. I almost feel like those are AU now. Does that make sense? ( probably not). Any johnlock fic recs for season 3 compliant awesomeness? help!

Um…  Up all Night by Michi_thekiller is the only s3-compliant canon fic I’ve read yet, and it’s a reaction fic.  Probably if you poke through AO3 you’ll be able to find more, but it’s pretty early for the specifically s3-compliant fic to get rolling.

I guess a new season does make a lot of fic AU, but I’m fond of AU myself.  I hope your desire to read those comes back, because there’s a lot of great stuff out there!  Well, and then there’s the actual AU stuff.  That never goes out of date.

Anybody else have suggestions for s3-compliant fic recs?
