As adorable as this is, I don’t want men holding hands to be a big deal. I want to live in a world (well, a United States; it is normal in lots of other countries) where physical contact between male friends is normal and acceptable, and men can hold hands or hug or lean on each other without it being a big deal.
Yeah, I like slash. I just hate that men are expected to be so repressed that simple physical displays of affection are blown up into massive significance, to the point where simply holding hands gets read as queer.
Not that I think the comment above was out to imply anything particular besides “Awwww, so cute!” but it just made me think about it, and then I got a sad.
