I love that gif, I’m not sure why I haven’t reblogged it yet.

Ah, but sad anon!  I think that what you are overlooking is the fact that it happened in the first place.

John is clearly not the dancing type to begin with, or Sherlock wouldn’t have had to teach a man in his late 30s to dance.  But this means that, of everybody in the world, John has danced with Sherlock the most.

And if it helps, even if he enjoys it, Sherlock is clearly not that big of a dancer either, or he would just go out and find opportunities to do it.  But he says he’s waiting for the right case.

Don’t underestimate Sherlock’s ability to manipulate the situation till he gets what he wants, dear anon. ^_^  If he wants to dance with John more, he’ll make it happen.  (I hope he has to teach John to tango.)
