this is a face of a man who actually did everything for john watson and still isn’t able to stop “that” happening: stop john leaving him happening, stop john not seeing his devotion happening, stop john being in love with somebody else happening
Stop John from getting fucked up, betrayed, lied to, and hurt by the people he loves most.
Still not buying unrequited love woobie!lock, but he’s got plenty to regret here, nonetheless.
