I need to do a point-by-point comparison, because I’m pretty sure their movements, stances, blocking, and even some of the camera positions are also the same.
And yet, it’s not exactly the same, because this all went down and became necessary because of Sherlock picking this fight with Magnussen. And while John shooting the cabbie was a risk, Sherlock shooting Magnussen was deliberately throwing away the very thing that John told Sherlock outright he needed, at the end of last season and the beginning of this one.
So you know. It’s more like shooting himself in the foot.
