Tumblr is a total disaster for me. I can’t post anything at all from my
dash. I try and everything darks out but the post interface never comes
up. I’m sending this from my email.It’s only happening to me in Chrome. Firefox is fine. I wonder if this has something to do with Chrome suddenly dumping Google Now on me…. Might be time to cut them loose.
It’s fine in Chrome for me, but I don’t think I have Google Now yet, whatever that is…. Yay, something to look forward to. :^/
Google Now is a helper app that started out on Android cell phones. Collects information about blogs you like to follow, events going on in your area, how the traffic is looking, etc. It’s kind of cool.
But I don’t want it on my desktop.
It might not be that, though. Tumblr is a kind of weirdly-coded site that doesn’t always play well with other things. It’s possible that it’s something else that either I or Google recently did in my browser environment.
Anyway, I’ll let you guys know if I figure it out. In the meantime, at least there’s an alternative!
