I have XKit too. In fact I tried disabling because I wondered if that was the problem (it wasn’t; you can all breathe easy).
Google is just Doing Stuff, I suspect. Hopefully it will return to normal by tomorrow. Alternatively, possibly I caught some sort of Tumblr virus?
