Suddenly, I dare to hope that all my dreams of Mary as a villain really might come true.
I don’t hate her, to be clear. I really like her deeply questionable, cheerfully homicidal and yet apparently earnest self. But Mary as a villain would be BEAUTIFUL. The MOST SUCCESSFUL villain. Because if she is, then she has already won! No matter what happens, these two men will be devastated, because they already let her in and let themselves care (even Sherlock!) and she’ll take her pound of flesh with her when she goes.
On the other hand, that’d mean yet another case of icky pregnancy-exploitation plot, wouldn’t it? (Then again, isn’t it anyway?) 😛 Well. Nothing we love isn’t problematic, I suppose.
I’m unabashedly cheering for Mary as a villain. I can just imagine Amanda playing it with such cheek, it would be fabulous.
#poor john #certainly #and I’m not looking forward to that bit #but the rest! #mary morstan #speculation #sherlock
Oh come on, you’re looking forward to it a little.
Science. Just think how lovely he’d look when he was that upset.
(And then Sherlock having sympathy-suffering is like my favorite Sherlock. NO NO NO, Sherlock having sympathy-suffering while being a stone-cold vengeful bastard. That would be literally the best.)
