Toughen up! Be ruthless! I love your icon! Is that strict enough? What’s the line, why doesn’t it fit and can you leave it to mature and put it in something else?

Thank you!  It helps!  It is in fact quite a few lines, and they’re not fitting because they were written for an earlier draft of this fic when it was less soul-consumingly depressing than it is now.

I am shoving them down into a ‘Scraps’ section in hopes that I can find homes for at least some of them (‘the bee fantastic’ line is so beautiful; I want to share it with the world).  But I very much fear that it’s largely a lost cause.
