Hi hi a fan of yours here. I loved your write up on the whole S3 about the whole shipping thing etc I know you mentioned Private Life and I was curious if you had seen this article from the observer, 2010 by Gatiss as a film that changed his life. The wording fits this season. “The relationship between Sherlock and Watson is treated beautifully; Sherlock effectively falls in love with him in the film, but it’s so desperately unspoken.” If you’ve seen it, ah well, if not, please enjoy and thanks!

Hello! First things first, I found your blog in the aftermath of His Last Vow and now it’s absolutely one of my favourites. :) The second thing, do you have any advice for someone who’d like to write meta about a television series (at the moment Sherlock) but doesn’t have enough followers to create proper conversations? My writing is good enough, of that I’m quite sure, but talking to yourself is hardly satisfying. Thanks a lot!

Hi – I have a question about the face flicking scene. I think I understand why Sherlock gave John a nod to let him start it. I suppose Sherlock wanted to see what CAM might reveal but later, when he says “Can I do your eye now?” and John says “Sherlock?” what was the point in letting it go on? Sherlock says “Let him, I’m sorry, Let him” and I don’t know why. The whole thing was extremely disturbing. I would appreciate hearing your take on it. Thanks.

Thanks so much for answering Redbeard. i think Sherlock’s go at Google glass was to lure CAM to play like he did Moriarty (boring sherlock,code) to infiltrate CAM’s library THEN realizing it’s a mind palace. still don’t get Y Sherlock hates/fears CAM so much?He disproves of blackmail?If Sherlock is Mycroft’s weakness Y would Sherlock be a threat(“go against me'”-HLV) if he takes on CAM? may i have your take on ‘Redbeard’ ? so now we all know that Redbeard refers to Sherlock’s dog. Why did Mycroft bring it up in TSOT. Is there a back story or another anecdote? If so what does it mean for Sherlock? What was CAM implying when he said Redbeard in HLV? Also have you noticed that in HLV the first person CAM ‘read’ the red ‘pressure point’ line blinking like it’s searching but when CAM ‘read’ Sherlock there’s an unending list before CAM says Redbeard then Sherlock’s face. What’s up?
