“In God’s eyes” is such a hilarious thing to hear coming from any Christian, because we’ve got a whole book where Jesus went on for a few hundred pages about how it doesn’t matter WHAT is going on with the person in front of you, you treat them like they’re your own flesh and blood.
If somebody starts a sentence with “In God’s eyes” then it had better end with “it doesn’t matter whether that person is a beggar, whore, drug addict, woman, homosexual, slave, different ethnicity, different religion, or penitent murderer, you help them if they need it,” or else you’ve got the ending wrong. It’s not like he was unspecific about this at any point.
